What You Will Achieve

Play a critical leadership role in shaping the future of COVID-19 immunization by leading HCP Medical Education and Peer-to-Peer strategy for US Comirnaty. This role sits at the intersection of commercial strategy, scientific engagement, and omnichannel execution, driving high-impact education that empowers healthcare professionals and strengthens public health outcomes.

This leader will elevate Pfizer’s external Covid-19 vaccination thought leadership presence, build durable KOL ecosystems, and advance innovative engagement models that drive category leadership in a highly dynamic and competitive environment.

  • Own and set the US Adult Comirnaty HCP Medical Education strategy, aligning to brand priorities, lifecycle management, and evolving COVID-19 landscape

  • Shape Covid-19 Vaccination KOL engagement strategy across HCPs, pharmacists, and emerging Digital Opinion Leaders (DOLs), ensuring Pfizer is positioned as a trusted scientific partner

  • Translate complex clinical, RWE, and burden-of-disease insights into scalable KOL engagement strategies across the customer journey via in-person and omnichannel settings

  • Drive innovation in HCP engagement models, including digital-first, hybrid, and data-enabled P2P programs including speaker programs with the field force

  • Serve as a key commercial thought partner to cross-functional leadership, influencing brand strategy, evidence generation priorities, and customer engagement planning

  • Lead high-visibility initiatives (e.g., advisory boards, steering committees, pilot programs) that inform strategic direction and elevate Pfizer’s Covid-19 Vaccine market leadership

  • Manage MedEd Agency of Record, Budget

  • Deliver measurable business impact, including HCP engagement quality, content effectiveness, and contribution to vaccination uptake

How You Will Achieve It

Strategic Leadership

  • Lead development of integrated, insight-driven Medical Education and P2P strategy, ensuring alignment across brand, medical, omnichannel, and portfolio priorities

  • Define KOL segmentation and engagement roadmap, prioritizing high-impact influencers and emerging voices in the COVID-19 space

  • Influence content strategy and scientific narrative development to ensure clarity, credibility, and compliance

Innovation & Omnichannel Excellence

  • Partner with Omnichannel Lead to ensure seamless orchestration of HCP engagements across channels. Serve as DOL program liaison

  • Pioneer new engagement approaches leveraging data, personalization, and evolving HCP preferences

Cross-Functional Leadership & Influence

  • Serve as a central integrator across HCP marketing, medical, legal, regulatory, HEOR, retail, and global teams

  • Act as a strategic liaison to retail and portfolio teams, ensuring consistent execution and message pull-through

Execution & Operational Excellence

  • Oversee end-to-end planning, execution, and optimization of speaker programs, advisory boards, and MedEd initiatives

  • Lead agency partnership to deliver best-in-class strategic planning, execution, and budget stewardship

  • Define and monitor KPIs and performance metrics, driving continuous optimization and ROI improvement

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree 7 years of experience or advanced degree (MBA/MPH/PharmD +5 years)

  • HCP marketing experience in medical education and/or P2P strategy

  • Retail vaccines experience

  • Ability to work independently across stakeholders and demonstrates judgement of what needs to be escalated

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (oral and written)

  • Robust analytical/planning skills and ability to multi-task under pressure

  • Self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity

  • Solid understanding of today’s U.S. pharmaceutical environment, incl. Regulatory, Legal and Compliance

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years' experience in the U.S. pharmaceutical industry

  • MBA, MPH, PharmD or similar

  • Previous HCP marketing, retail pharmacy or enabling partner/function experience

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

  • Travel may include attendance at KOL content events, trainings, congresses, studio recordings, and/or customer facing colleague planning meetings

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $139,100.00 to $231,900.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 17.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
