Position Description:
Applications are invited for part-time semester instructor vacancies in social work in the Department of Social Work, available May 10, 2026. Candidates are expected to have a demonstrated commitment to excellence in social work education and practice, and to be competent in contemporary approaches to social work education.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include teaching social work courses across the curriculum in BSW and MSW.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree in social work from a Council on Social Work Education-accredited program.
At least two (2) years of full-time professional practice experience post master's in social work.
Requires successful completion of a background check and education verification.
Preferred Qualifications:
At least one (1) year of teaching experience in undergraduate or graduate social work education.
Demonstrated knowledge of the use of information technology to support social work education. Current license: LSW, LCSW, and LCAC
