Our dedicated and compassionate employees are driven by a common mission: To deliver the cures of tomorrow to the people who need them today.

We are growing and expanding our Hematology Oncology program at the City of Hope Lennar Foundation Cancer Center and are seeking an oncology-experienced nurse to support multiple providers specializing in Leukemia and Multiple Myeloma.

In this clinic-based role, you will work alongside leading providers in a high-acuity, fast-paced ambulatory setting, caring for complex patients requiring advanced therapies. As a key member of the care team, the RN will play an integral role in care coordination—providing patient education on treatment plans, closely monitoring laboratory results, and coordinating transfusions as needed. You will collaborate closely with physicians and the Advanced Practice Provider to triage patient needs, follow up on orders, and manage in-basket communications to ensure timely, comprehensive, and high-quality care.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical expertise, attention to detail, and a compassionate, patient-centered approach while working in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment. This position is Monday – Friday 4/10 hour shifts, 8am – 630pm

As a successful candidate, you will:

  • Strong oncology clinical expertise, particularly in hematologic malignancies

  • Advanced critical thinking and clinical judgment in managing complex patient conditions

  • Proficiency in interpreting lab results and identifying early signs of complications

  • Excellent care coordination and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment

  • Effective communication and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams

  • Confidence in patient education, including explaining complex therapies and treatment plans

  • Ability to prioritize, triage, and manage high-volume patient needs

  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through in managing orders and in-basket messaging

  • A compassionate, patient-centered approach with a focus on quality and safety

Your qualifications should include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing or master’s degree in nursing
  • Three to five years related experience
  • Current California Registered Nurse license
  • Current BLS certification from American Heart Association
