We are filling New Grad RN Resident positions at Marymount Hospital on NIGHT shift and DAY/NIGHT rotating shifts.

  • Day/Night: 7:00am - 7:30pm / 7:00pm - 7:30am

  • Nights: 7:00pm - 7:30am

Units include:

2nd floor - MS Tele Post Surgical

3rd floor - Med Surg Tele Neuro

4th floor - Med Surg Tele Ortho

As aNew GradRN Resident on this team, you willassistfellow caregivers in delivering exceptional care, frominitialintroduction to final send-off. In this role, you will interact directly with patients,families,and visitors, offering the opportunity to enhance their experience and supply healthcare information as needed.

A caregiver who excels in this role will:

  • Participate in a residency core curriculum based on individual learning needs.

  • Provide direct nursing care alongside asuccesscoach.

  • Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care (acuity of need, patientpreferenceand resource availability).

  • Respond to dataindicatingrisk to patients’ health and initiate action to correct, reduce or preventrisk.

  • Seeksupervision,consultationandassistancewhen unable to perform safely and independently.

  • Documentinpatients’ medical records.


Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

  • Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing(Diploma,ADNor BSN program)

  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)or American Red Cross

  • New graduate or less than one yearofRN work experience OR if experienced RN moving from non-inpatient to acute direct care clinical inpatient setting with less than one year of current acute direct patient care RN experience


Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

  • Bachelor’sofScience inNursing (BSN)

Physical Requirements:

  • Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patient, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination.

  • Requires standing and walking for extended periods of time.

  • Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.

  • Requires working under stressful conditions and irregular hours.

  • Exposure to communicable diseases and/or body fluids.

  • Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

  • Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.

Personal Protective Equipment:

  • Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required for procedures.

Pay Range

Minimum hourly: $35.50

Maximum hourly: $55.60

The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate’s actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate’s work history, experience, skill set and education.
